The death toll from the crash jumped to 67 aircraft of Yeti Airlines in Pokhara, Nepal, in the worst air tragedy in this small Himalayan country in nearly five years.
“Thirty-one have been taken to hospitals,” police officer A.K. told AFP. Chetri, adding that another 36 bodies were found in the ravine where the aircraft crashed shortly before landing.
Hundreds of rescuers continued to search the area where the plane, which was carrying 72 people and was flying from the capital Kathmandu to Pokhara airport, crashed.
In fact, a video published in the local media allegedly shows the last seconds of the plane before it crashed.
