The Xbox Series X and Series S feature, promised back in October, should finally be available to gamers. It’s about increasing the frame rate

The next generation Xbox game consoles are known to support games from all previous generations of Microsoft consoles without problems. However, even before the release of the current set-top boxes, we were promised, among other things, one more function related to backward compatibility.

It’s about increasing the frame rate. Microsoft has said the Xbox Series X and Series S will bring higher and more consistent frame rates to older games. Then we were given the example of Fallout 4, where the frame rate was increased from 30 to 60 fps. The problem is that Fallout 4 is still the only game with this feature.

But recently it became known that in the near future Microsoft will make an announcement dedicated to this solution, and it should happen this week, allegedly.

Moreover, judging by the words of one of the insiders, even something more awaits us, and the upcoming announcement will only be the beginning. However, it is not clear what exactly. That said, an insider warns that Microsoft’s initial offer may be disappointing, but overall it’s something really cool.
