The GSMArena website has published the results of a survey in which more than 11 thousand people took part. The survey participants were asked to answer the question whether they plan to buy a new smartphone Xiaomi Mi 11 and choose one of several options.
Less than half of those surveyed answered yes to this question, with 24% saying they would buy a smartphone as soon as it goes on sale in their country. And about 20% said they would buy a smartphone only if the reviews and feedback from the first users are positive.
The most popular answer, which received more than 26% of the votes, was “No, I will wait for the release of Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro”. This smartphone should get an improved optical zoom camera and faster charging. The presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is expected in February along with the global announcement of the Xiaomi Mi 11.
About 24% of those surveyed are not interested in purchasing Xiaomi Mi 11 or Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro, and 6% believe that now is the time for Xiaomi fans to buy Xiaomi Mi 10.
Before the release of Xiaomi Mi 11 on the world market, the global version of the device was spotted in two places at once: in the database of the Singapore regulator Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), as well as in the popular test application Geekbench.
