There is a hope that really new eight-core Intel mobile processors will be released in early or mid-summer

Intel unveiled Tiger Lake-H35 mobile processors earlier this month, which turned out to be not what many expected, based on multiple leaks.

Recall that Tiger Lake-H35 are high-performance mobile CPUs, but only quad-core. And we have seen leaks on eight-core models more than once.

Intel later confirmed that such CPUs will come out, but towards the end of the year. Now there is hope that it will have to wait a little less.

A spokesman for XGM said that the launch of such processors is expected at the end of the second quarter, that is, in June.

Currently known XMG laptops (excluding CORE 14) will only be available with Tiger Lake when Tiger Lake-H45 with 6-8 cores arrives. The launch of the H45 has not yet been announced but is rumored to take place at the end of the second quarter of this year. We have plans to migrate the various XMG product families from Comet Lake to TGL-H45 when the time comes. Certain AMD Cezanne and Intel Tiger Lake families may be offered in parallel

It’s worth noting that this is not accurate information yet, even if the PC maker is not exactly sure about the dates. Besides, it is not very clear what is meant by launch. This can be either an announcement or the start of sales of finished products. In the first case, laptops with Tiger Lake-H45 will be released in July or August at best.
