The GeForce RTX 3060 chip is capable of delivering about 40-45 MH / s, but due to the limiter that determines the characteristic load, the performance is automatically reduced to 20-25 MH / s. But Chinese enthusiasts have released a modification that bypasses NVIDIA’s limitations.
In the photo, which was discovered by a Twitter user under the nickname I_Leak_VN, it can be seen that the Geforce RTX 3060 operates at a stable 45 MH / s in Ethereum using the Dagger Hashi-Motto algorithm. Using a farm for 8 video cards, we managed to achieve a total hash rate of 362.75 MH / s.

The Vietnamese Facebook group said they have tested the modification and can confirm that mining speeds can be as high as 50 MH / s. This makes the GeForce RTX 3060 profitable for miners – the performance is on par with the 3060 Ti at a lower price and power consumption.
At the moment, it is not clear how exactly the loophole found by the Chinese miners works – no major source has yet confirmed the functionality of the modification. NVIDIA previously reported that it was impossible to crack the protection.
