Thermaltake has unveiled Toughfan RGB 12 and 14 fans in 120 and 140 mm sizes, respectively, designed for installation on radiators. They are optimized for high static pressure based on their application.
According to the manufacturer, the new items are in response to requests from users who have already appreciated the Toughfan series models, but want to get a backlit fan. Toughfan RGB 12 and 14 are the first fans in the series to feature backlighting. More precisely, each one is adorned with 24 addressable LEDs embedded in the bezel. The backlight can be controlled using the proprietary TT RGB PLUS 2.0 and NeonMaker software.
The new fans inherit the characteristics of the Toughfan series, including a maximum speed of 2000 rpm and a low noise level. The fans use second generation optimized hydraulic bearings with a unique design that concentrates lubricant in critical areas, further reducing friction and extending fan life. The blades are made of liquid crystal polymer with high tensile strength and low coefficient of thermal expansion.
