Thermaltake introduced the W1 mechanical gaming keyboard. This keyboard has three interfaces: 2.4GHz radio, Bluetooth 4.2, and USB.
The advantages of the first connection option include a small delay – 1 ms. In this case, the keyboard works without changing the power supply for up to 1.5 months and recognizes up to 10 simultaneous keystrokes. Choosing Bluetooth 4.2 adds the ability to connect to three devices with quick keystroke switching between them and extends the battery life to 2.5 months, but at the cost of increasing latency to 8ms and reducing the number of simultaneously recognized keystrokes to six. Finally, a wired connection with a 1.5-meter USB cable increases the number of simultaneously recognized clicks to a maximum and completely eliminates the need to change the power source. By the way, the latter is a pair of AA elements.
The keyboard uses Cherry MX switches. Two options are offered – with Cherry MX Blue and Cherry MX Red switches. In both cases, the resource is 50 million clicks, and the caps are made of heavy-duty PBT plastic. The keyboard has a volume control and an integrated wrist rest. The manufacturer does not name the price of the novelty.
