These Intel processors will have to wait. Core i7-1260P and the first Alder Lake-M lit up on the web
For the first time, a new generation Intel processor based on the smallest crystal in the line has appeared on the web.
Recall that Alder Lake processors are based on three crystals, the images of which you can see above. Now we are talking about a CPU based on the smallest crystal containing only two large cores and eight small ones.
In the SiSoft Sandra database, the Alder Lake-M processor was lit up in the maximum configuration for this crystal, however, the software incorrectly determines the number of threads – there should be 12, not 20. At the same time, the frequencies are indicated in the range from 0.8 to 4.7 GHz, but for now it is impossible to say whether the serial CPUs will have the same low base frequencies. Of the rest, 12 MB of L3 cache can be noted.
The Core i7-1260P with 12 cores and 16 threads (four large cores and eight small ones) also appeared on the Web. This is a CPU with a faster GPU (96 compute units) and a base frequency of 2.5 GHz. In Geekbench, such a processor scored 1442 and 4190 points, which is less than the Core i7-1195G7.
