These Intel processors will take some getting used to. Alder Lake-P 14-core, 20-thread CPUs pass benchmarks

Be that as it may, today the Alder Lake-P mobile CPU with 14 cores and 20 threads has appeared on the Web. The configuration, unusual for current CPUs, is due to the presence of different cores. In this case, the processor has 6 large cores and 8 small ones. The former support Hyper-Threading, while the latter do without it.

The maximum CPU frequency was 4.7 GHz, but it is not a fact that production models will not have it higher. Also noteworthy is the 24 MB L3 cache.

In addition, the processor configuration includes a GPU Xe with 96 execution units, that is, the configuration corresponds to the current flagship Tiger Lake CPU.

Judging by the available data, the test CPU is the flagship of the mobile line, although it is clearly too early to put an end to this question.
