Over 100 cases were found in the crew of HMS Queen Elizabeth, after party at Limassol.
According to her post Mirror the sailors fell ill, having previously landed in Limassol and participated in a rave party.
According to the publication cited by sigmalive.com, the crew did a test to return to the ship. These are about 100 people who have had both doses of the vaccine, adds the Mirror.
A Navy spokesman told the Mirror that “this is a small number of infections” and did not specify how many of the crew.
The ship will remain at sea for another three weeks but if the virus continues to spread then the next stops will be canceled.
The crew received clear instructions for daily tests and strict instructions were given to all those who became ill to remain self-limiting and to avoid social contact.
