They set up vaccination centers in major Italian resorts

Italians are adapting their vaccination strategy to the new data, with the aim of building immunity against coronavirus throughout the population of the country.

As announced, from next Monday all citizens born up to 1971 will be able to be vaccinated. The regions that are in the most favorable position in terms of the vaccination process are those of Rome and Milan.

The second dose, according to Italian public television Rai, will not necessarily be given at the same vaccination center as the first. It is possible that new centers will be set up, in large resorts, so that the citizens who will go on vacation, will be able to complete, normally, their vaccination cycle.

As always in the context of achieving immunity as quickly as possible, it was also decided that From now on, the second dose of Pfizer and Moderna vaccines can be given four weeks after the first, and not two, as has been the case so far.

At the same time, it is a matter of concern that some three million people over the age of 70 have not yet been vaccinated, and the Italian Ministry of Health is planning new initiatives to raise awareness.

As of today, the mass vaccination of the inhabitants of the small Italian islands has begun, which is a total of 30.
