The murder of one is shocking rapper from Chicago, who received 64 bullets to the head and other parts of his body while on his way out of prison.
Londre Sylvester, 31, also known as KTS Dre, was one of three people shot dead outside Cook Prison in Chicago’s Little Village area last Saturday.
The attack took place while the 31-year-old was being released from prison with the obligation to wear a bracelet on his ankle, as reported by the Chicago Tribune.
Eyewitnesses reported that two armed men found a vehicle and started shooting Sylvester, hitting him in the face and chest.
Investigators found at least 59 calyxes near the jail.
Sylvester was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A 60-year-old woman was with him at the time shots and injured his knee. She is in hospital and is in good condition, according to police.
Another 30-year-old woman was injured in the face by a bullet that went through a scratch. It is also in good condition.
No arrests had been made in the case until Sunday night.
