Dear dad,

It doesn’t seem true, but 30 years have passed since they torn you to us. Years lived as a temporary distance, not as a definitive absence; As a distance presence, not as a void. You have never abandoned us; We never abandoned you. From you came the strength that opened our wings, from you the energy served to overcome adversity came.

We were little more than girls on March 27, 1995; Today we are women. For the others you were a person: the mask of a great story, of a prestigious style, of an international brand.
A fascinating person, of course: sunny, enthusiastic, enterprising. But For us you were the father, the most tender and inspiring of the fathers; You have been, you are still, the law (the embankment of our lives) and desire (the will to live). There are no caresses, kisses; and how they are missing! The narrow of your beautiful manon is missing. But you are present. You are next to us, in the walks we do with our families in your beloved Engadine; You are in front of us, when we tell you about your grandchildren, how they grow up, how they look like you. We have not forgotten the way you walk, your laugh, your smile, the tone of your voice. Death is nothing, it has been said. And so. You are just passed in the next room: we are always us and you are always you.

We are still what we were yesterday, we and you for us. For this we still call you with the name we have given you and that is familiar to us: Pope.

Maurizio Gucci’s crime took place on the morning of March 27, 1995 under his home in via Palestro in Milan. For the murder, in addition to the material performers, Patrizia Reggiani, ex -wife of Maurizio Gucci and mother of Allegra and Alessandra, as a principal, and the friend and confidant, the “sorceress” Pina Auriemma, for competition in homidicio, were condemned. Both sentences have been obvious.

Allegra and Alessandra Gucci have chosen to live away from the spotlight. Allegra, second son of Maurizio and Patrizia, remained silent by witnessing the illications, lies, sensationalistic titles, interviews on TV and infinite attacks without utmost uttered for over 27 years.
