This app turns your smartphone into a car dashboard in the style of Android Auto

Not all cars have support for Android Auto, a system for pairing with an Android device and displaying its functions on the dashboard and media center. In this case, you can install the corresponding application on your smartphone and turn it into an Android Auto dashboard. However, the official client offers limited functionality and its low rating means that it is not good enough. Fortunately, there is a new third party AutoZen app that solves this problem.

The main AutoZen screen displays a map with your current location and speed. In the upper left corner there is a search for a destination, nearby gas stations, parking lots, restaurants, shops, contacts, and so on. At the bottom there are a few extra buttons that allow quick access to the dialer and applications. In addition, the bottom bar also contains music controls for the selected application, a button to launch voice commands, and a button to access notifications.

In addition to all the features mentioned above, AutoZen has a few extras. It is built-in turn-by-turn navigation based on Mapbox, speed camera alerts, road works and accidents. The paid version allows you to use the app as your default launcher, as well as unlocks support for gestures, Do Not Disturb mode, Bluetooth auto-launch, and more.

AutoZen can be downloaded from Google Play, most of its features are available for free, and the premium version is given a 7-day trial before purchase.
