This happened! The cutout from the iPhone 14 Pro has already been added to Android

The most important feature of the iPhone 14 series smartphones, or rather the Pro and Pro Max models, was a new cutout, called Dynamic Island. For these devices, Apple developers added a special interface feature in iOS 16 that masks the notch, showing various information in its place. After the presentation, many assumed that similar functionality would be copied to Android smartphones, but no one thought that this would happen so soon.

Xiaomi smartphone theme designer Mu Ye has already created a theme that allegedly adds Dynamic Island to the screen. The theme itself, called Grumpy UI, has already been uploaded to the official store of the Chinese company and is waiting for moderators to check before it appears in the catalog. The theme, in fact, uses a special widget. You can adjust the exact location of the notch on your smartphone screen to fit any front camera hole. A demonstration of how it looks in the MIUI shell can be viewed below:

It is not a fact that manufacturers will want to implement some kind of Dynamic Island in their software. The fact is that there is not much point in this, since recently there has been a tendency to abandon cutouts of any type and shape in an effort to make the camera invisible. However, there will be implementation in the form of themes and various widgets, and this is just one of the options.
