Work on it began last year, and now Google is rolling out the feature to Chrome beta testers for Android and Windows. PartitionAlloc is also being developed for Linux, but due to the abundance of bugs, it is not yet clear when support will be implemented in the stable version.
Earlier it was reported that the PartitionAlloc function better allocates memory, while increasing security and performance, and allows even in the most “difficult” cases to keep the use of RAM for certain processes within 10%.
