Huawei Watch D will be the world’s first smartwatch with a cuff blood pressure monitor and support for ECG recording. The novelty is sure to attract attention and even, perhaps, become a hit, but we already have the opportunity to appreciate how the Watch D looks live and lies on the hand. A video unpacking the new item has been posted on Twitter. The process of measuring blood pressure is also demonstrated.

Alas, the person in the video measures the blood pressure incorrectly, but we have already written how it is correct. It is also easy to estimate the size of the watch – the device is not at all small. However, the screen is also large here. The process of recording an ECG is not demonstrated, but this function is definitely available in Watch D. As well as a heart rate sensor and a pulse oximeter.

Watch D will officially premiere on December 23rd. The watch is powered by HarmonyOS, has 32 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal flash memory. The cost of the novelty is also already known.
