The Intel Arc graphics cards of the Alchemist line should be released in the second quarter. And today a lot of information about these adapters has appeared on the Web.

As it was already known, there will be three series in the lineup: A300, A500 and A700. How many cards will be included in each is unclear, but it is quite possible two or three. The younger line will be based on the DG2-128 GPU, the middle and older will receive the DG2-512, but with 384 and 512 execution units for top cards, respectively. RAM will be 6 GB (A300), 12 GB (A500) and 16 GB (A700) with frequencies of 14, 16 and 16 GHz, respectively. The memory bus will be 96-bit, 192-bit, and 256-bit in the same order. All cards will support DirectX 12 Ultimate and hardware-accelerated ray tracing.

There are also test results for the A380 model, but these are synthetic tests.

In them, as you can see, sometimes the Intel solution competes with the latest GeForce RTX 3050 and Radeon RX 6500 XT, and sometimes it lags far behind them. It is hardly possible to draw any conclusions about gaming performance based on these tests.
