Corning has released the latest screen protector for smartphones and other mobile devices, called Gorilla Glass Victus, in 2020. This glass is used mainly in flagship models, but an improved version will appear on the market very soon.
Gorilla Glass Victus+, the toughened successor to Victus, is making its debut in Samsung’s new flagship smartphones. Verified network whistleblower Ice Universe posted a message on his Twitter page that all three models of the S22 series will have Gorilla Glass Victus + glass.
He didn’t specify if the glass would only be used with the screen or if it would also decorate the back of the device. It is worth noting that the Galaxy S21 and S21 + had a plastic back panel, while the Galaxy S21 + received Gorilla Glass Victus glass on both sides.
Earlier it was reported that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will receive ultra-clear wired glass, which will help reduce reflections and glare, as well as improve the durability of the screen.
This week it became known that the Samsung Galaxy S22, Samsung Galaxy S22+ and Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will have to pay $100 more than the Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung Galaxy S21+ and Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra, respectively.
This insider this week accurately confirmed that Samsung has postponed the presentation of the Exynos 2200 single-chip system, and recommended that the South Korean manufacturer think about a full transition to Snapdragon.
