Thomas Matthew Crooks, the would-be assassin of Donald Trump, had searched the internet for the Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton and had pictures of her on his mobile phone. According to the FBI’s analysis of the two phones and his laptop, Crooks had sought information about a member of the British royal family in addition to Donald Trump, Joe Biden, FBI Director Christopher Wray and General US Attorney Merrick Garland. It is not yet clear why the 20-year-old was searching for Kate Middleton, the only non-American in the group of people found in his online search history.
