Thousands of Picasso works available in new online archive

2023 was the year of Pablo Picasso, as private collectors and global organizations teamed up to host touring exhibitions to mark the 50th anniversary of the Spanish artist’s death. For those unable to travel long distances to see his work in person, there is a new online portal containing photographs, paintings and sculptures detailing Picasso’s creations, including works never before shown to the public. Available courtesy of the Musée Picasso in Paris, the archive includes thousands of interviews, essays, artworks and images aimed at researchers and artists in residence, but also accessible to fans.
