The popularity of Brazilian President Luis Inasio Lula da Silva has increased for the first time this year, according to a poll that saw the light of publicity today, following US President Donald Trump’s threats to impose 50% duties on Imports from Brazil. In a Quaest poll on behalf of the Genial Stock Exchange, 43% of respondents applaud Lula government – a percentage of three points compared to a poll conducted in May. At the same time, the percentage of critics decreased from 57% to 53%.
