Yellow in progress in the Bahamas. The bodies of three American touriststwo men and a woman, were found lifeless within the luxurious Sandals Emerald Bay resort, on the island of Great Exuma. At the same time, a fourth American tourist from the facility was rushed to hospital, with immediate hospitalization at Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, the capital of the Bahamas.
Interim Prime Minister Chester Cooper broke the news. For the moment, the circumstances of the deaths still remain mysterious. Police officers of the Royal Bahamas Police Force said investigations were launched on the basis of the sudden death of the three Americans.
As reported by the CNN, no acts of violence are suspected, as no signs of trauma were found on the bodies. It turns out that one of the men was found dead in a villa of the resort, while the couple of man and woman died in another villa of the structure. Investigations revealed signs of seizures.
Meanwhile Sky News reports the suspicion of a hotel guest that it could be a failure of the air conditioning systemwith loss of toxic coolants.
As Bahamian Health Minister Dr. Michael Darville told Eyewitness News Bahamas, the day before the deaths, some hotel guests were treated in a local clinic for symptoms of nausea and vomiting. For now, the health emergency alarm has returned, but we expect to know more about the causes. Minister Darville made it known that he had an idea about the affair, but could not say more for the moment.
