According to a survey carried out by the hosting platform Airbnb, of the ten most sought after cities by world travelers, three are in Brazil. They are: Florianópolis (SC), Porto Seguro (BA), in addition to the capital of Bahia, Salvador. In this same list appear cities like Malaga, in Spain, Sydney and Melbourne, in Australia and Auckland, in New Zealand.
Platform research suggests that by 2022, the flexibility that remote and hybrid work has offered has led to a revolution in how people live and work, especially when it comes to travel. The information also reveals the main global trends for 2023, the year-end season or summer, in Brazil.
Around here, domestic tourism is on the rise. For the end of the year season, the three most popular domestic destinations are the cities of Joinville (SC), Ipojuca (PE) — where Porto de Galinhas beach is located — and Uberlândia (MG).
Airbnb data also point out the main cities abroad that Brazilians have traveled the most: Lisbon, in Portugal, Miami, in the USA, and London, in the United Kingdom.
