The source published high-quality renders of the AMD Radeon RX 6600 – the younger version of the Radeon RX 6600 XT released a month ago. The pictures show a 3D card from Gigabyte from the Eagle line with a serious cooling system.

The lettering on the box indicates that the Radeon RX 6600 is designed for Full HD gaming and is equipped with 8GB of GDDR6 memory. It is believed that the main video card is the GPU Navi 23 XL with 1792 stream processors and 32 MB of fast Infinity Cache.

As for the cooling system of this particular model, it can be called really serious – with three fans, several heat pipes and a radiator that protrudes beyond the printed circuit board by about a third. By the way, the printed circuit board of the Radeon RX 6600 seems to be slightly smaller than that of the Radeon RX 6600 XT.

The official premiere of the Radeon RX 6600 is expected in late September – early October. This model is expected to compete with the GeForce RTX 3050 if it does appear in a desktop variant.
