Who goes on the boat knows: the Three Golfi Sailing Week 2025 It is one of the most anticipated events of the international sailing calendar, staged in the enchanted waters of Sorrento, where highly sophisticated hulls of over 20 meters are rude by famous shipowners, of which stories could be written in the stories. Starting with that of Pier Luigi Loro Pianavice -president of the company of the same name, who, with sailing, rather than a bond, has an elective affinity, as if there was an exact correspondence between his professional thought and his going by sea: the same constant search for perfection, the same feeling of freedom, the same passion for nature and elegance.

Their plain supports the circuit as a sponsor for years and he, a (r) MATORE of My Songa 25 -meter Clubswan from the navy blue hull, for years and participates in the first person in the regatta, challenging 32 other super boats (the famous maxi) that bordered under one of the most admired coasts in the whole world.

And it is always he who did the honors here, inviting all shipowners and their guests to Villa Zagarafor a scenographic dinner immersed in a garden of 20,000 square meters between lemonati, ancient statues, vegetable gardens and a myriad of roses. Many garments from the brand were born using the sea as an open-air laboratory, where to experiment with fabrics and test them in extreme conditions, combining artisanal savoir-faire and excellent technical performance: the challenge was to find a nautical set made with natural fibers, which however was, at the same time, even highly performing. And then, for example, the Mysong crew Bermuda are in pure linen, albeit revisited in a very modern key and treated with a special membrane that makes it waterproof.

An important step was taken in 2000, when their plain presented the Defender jackets, produced with the wool of the New Zealand sheep, and so baptized because they had been designed to dress the New Zeland team which was precisely the defenter of the America’s Cup. In the years to follow the uniforms of the sailors, they have then even more advanced, they became more resistant and lighter, but their plain has still maintained its fundamental dictate, that is, always having products made with natural fabrics, respectful of the environment. Other examples are added: starting from the white sun, the famous shoes with the Chiara sole designed to not leave signs on the wooden bridges of the boats, up to the bomber windproof jacket made in a special microfiber that almost seems to be a spinnaker combined with a cashmere that today makes it an object-destiny.

On the MySong everything is coordinated, from waxes to sails and when you see it furrowed the sea, with its crew on board wearing the white shirts and linen trousers, it is as if you see an image of the America’s Cup of the 1920s, with that dose of nostalgia necessary to know how to face the future with elegance.
