Three men in the same family, accused of joining a group specializing in thefts against financial institutions were arrested on the morning of Thursday (10), in Salvador, capital of Bahia.
According to information from the Civil Police, the arrests took place during Operation Blood Ties, in the neighborhoods of Santo Inácio and Fazenda Grande do Retiro where the arrest warrants were served.
Police from the Specialized Department of Criminal Investigations (DEIC) comply with search and seizure warrants during the Operation triggered, they were in Lauro de Freitas, Itaparica Island and Feira de Santana.
Investigations began after theft of a bank branch in Lauro de Freitas in January, and is intended to dismantle the criminal organization. A “.40” pistol was also seized during the actions.
The operation continues in progress and has the support of more than 100 Civil Police agents of Deic Units and Military Police garrisons.
