Three more men who participated directly in the kidnapping of Ivanilson Gomes, president of the Green Party (PV) in Bahia, They were arrested on Monday afternoon (17). According to information released by the Civil Police, one of them was located on the island of Itaparica and the other two in the neighborhood of Ribeira, in Salvador.
The case happened last Friday (14), around noon, when armed criminals entered the headquarters of the PV, in the neighborhood of Rio Vermelho, stole the employees and took Ivanilson. He was only released last Saturday night, but had no injuries and is doing well.
A suspect was arrested a few hours after the crime, and from there, the Civil Police was able to proceed with the investigations. Also according to the PC, investigations and intelligence operations began in the early hours of the crime.
Following the victim’s release, police filed a precautionary measures, which were accepted and now, the teams of the Specialized Department of Criminal Investigations (Deic), through the Anti -Sequestro Police Station, served the arrest warrants.
The prisoners were sent to the specialized unit, underwent usual examinations and are custody available to the courts. Diligences still continue and investigations are ongoing in search of possible others involved.
