The arrest occurred after the Civil Police discovered the scheme, which operated in a factory in the Jardim Lisa neighborhood, last Thursday (21).
As reported by the Public Security Secretariat, more than 150 bottles of distilled beverages, as well as other empty glasses, hundreds of lids from different brands of beverages and barrels of liquid were seized.
Also according to the SSP, following a complaint from an e-commerce company, which detected, through the database, bank transactions worth R$100,000 in a short space of time, in addition to numerous purchases of lids and seals made by the suspects , agents began to investigate the scheme.
With the search and seizure warrant in hand, the teams went to the address where the alleged factory operated.
Several bottles of well-known brands were found at the scene, as well as hundreds of packages, equipment for sealing bottles and barrels with distilled beverages.
The seized liquids and objects were sent to forensics and the suspects to the police station, where they posted bail and were released.
The trio is criminally liable for criminal association, forgery, corruption, adulteration or alteration of a product intended for therapeutic or medicinal purposes, in addition to a completed crime against the environment, for keeping a species of wild fauna in captivity.
