Three police officers were killed today in an exchange of shots in the Dagestan area of southern Russia, when unknown gunmen opened fire on their vehicle, local authorities said. The attack on police officers, belonging to the Traffic Department, occurred at 14:20 local time (13:20 Greek time), the local interior ministry announced. One of the gunmen involved in the attack was killed, Tass’s state -run news agency quoted the ministry. A video released on channels of the Telegram application, whose content has not been confirmed, shows the lifeless bodies of police officers lying on the city’s street next to the patrol.
