Chery has released a large crossover Jetour X90 Plus, which is already on sale in China, South America and the Middle East. In the near future, the Jetour X90 Plus is planned to enter other markets. It is worth noting that the Chery Jetour brand has already been officially presented in Ukraine, where the new crossover should also appear. The car will be interesting because it is thinking about buying an inexpensive seven-seat crossover.
The Jetour X90 Plus is similar to the previously released Jetour X90, but with new bumpers and a new grille. The headlights are borrowed from the Jetour X95 and the taillights are original. Jetour X90 Plus has dimensions of 4858 x 1925 x 1780 mm.
In the cabin, we see the combination of a digital dashboard and a multimedia system, traditional for the latest Chery crossovers, into a single unit consisting of two screens. Of course, the car supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. In addition, there is a place for wireless charging of the smartphone, as well as several USB ports. Compared to the Jetour X90, the gear lever, climate control panel, air vents and so on have changed.
The Ukrainian Jetour X70 in the maximum configuration costs less than $ 20 thousand, while the older version is equipped with a panoramic roof and an all-round camera. Jetour X90 Plus goes even further: the basic version is equipped with a cruise control system and all-round cameras, and the older one received adaptive cruise control, emergency automatic braking and lane keeping systems.
In China, prices range from 15.7 to 21.6 thousand dollars, while the base version received a 1.5-liter TCI engine with 156 hp. and a 6-speed manual gearbox, and the older one is equipped with a 1.6-liter TGDI engine producing 197 hp with a 7-speed automatic.
