Three Spanish citizens and one Australian were arrested while trying to enter the Russian Cosmos Baikonur administration in Kazakhstan, the Russian state -run news agency reported today, citing a source. According to the same source, the four foreigners tried to enter a building of the Soviet multi -flight spacecraft (Buran). The four foreigners are interrogated, the source added. Last summer, three tourists from Europe were arrested in Baikonur trying to enter the cosmos illegally. Baikonur has attracted tourists in recent years of so -called adventure tourism. In 2022, British citizen Benzamin Reich and Belarusian Alina Zeloupa were arrested in the same area.
