July 25th: Sofia Marinho joins Yves Saliba for a four hands dinner at Per Lui

At the chef’s invitation Yves Saliba the restaurant Per Lui, receive the chef Sofia Marinho d’Sofia’s kitchen , for a dinner with four hands on the 25th of July. For the occasion, Yves and Sofia created a six-course menu, each of which signs three, but in a collaborative creation following the same harmonic context and full of surprising flavors.

The evening will start with a Duo of Snacks: Chard Salad, Radish and Green Tomatoes, Sour Cream and Anchovies (Per Lui,) and Truffled Mushroom Cannoli (Sofia). Then, the starters will be an Empanada of octopus with chorizo ​​(Sofia) and Garlic fondant au gratin with popcorn cream cheese and salted granola (Per Lui,).

For the main, Ravioli doppio of duck with plantain, tucupi beurre blanc and duck consommé (Sofia) and Red on the grill, roasted tomato dashi and couscous with burnt coconut (Per Lui,). For dessert, a Tuille of canjiquinha, yogurt gelato, corn ganache and coulis (Per Lui,).

The experience costs BRL 250, with the option of pairing for an additional BRL 250. Seats are limited, subject to reservation.

August 1st: 5 award-winning chefs share the kitchen at Pacato

When we cook something delicious, the first idea that comes to us is to call our friends. Therefore, the launch of our new menu “Da Lama ao Barro” and the International Friendship Day, celebrated at the end of July, were perfect excuses for the Chef Caio Soter, from Pacato restaurant, invite four friends over for a very special dinner.

The Friends Dinner will take place on the 1st at 7:30 pm, at Pacato, and will be an unprecedented 10-hand production with a selection of stars from all over Brazil, each one preparing a dish of their own creation.

Will be present: Claudia Krauspenhar, from K.sa Restaurant in Curitiba; Dário Costa, head of Churrascada do Mar and Deus Mansion, in São Paulo, and Madê, in Santos ; Kaywa Hilton, from Boia Cozinha do Mar in Salvador; Rubens Catarina, executive chef of Grupo DOM, in Sao Paulo; and the host Caio Soter, ahead of Pacato .

Until September 3: Paraiba chef Onildo Rocha opens restaurant in BH for 55 days only

Open to the public until the 3rd of September, miners will be able to visit the restaurant The Chef and The Goat, from paraibano Onildo Rocha, in the Santo Antônio neighborhood in Belo Horizonte. Designed by architect Betânia Nascimento, at the 28th edition of CASACOR, the restaurant represents northeastern cuisine, inspired by the Armorial Movement.

The term coined by Ariano Suassuna it may seem difficult, but it has a simple meaning: to highlight the roots of northeastern culture. The chef is the forerunner of the “armorial kitchen”, while the designer Gustavo Greco completes the partnership as Cabra. The duo, also responsible for the houses Abaru and Notie in São Paulo, offers an immersive experience in the riches of the Northeast.
