The corpse of the diplomat, according to the German magazine, has been transported to Russia. The embassy has not commented on the incident.
According to the official list of Russian diplomats, the 35-year-old was accredited in the summer of 2019 as the second secretary of the embassy. According to German security sources, the diplomat was Secret Service Agent of the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB), Der Spiegel reported.
