Six people found dead in a luxury hotel suite in Thailand were poisoned with cyanide, police said. The police suspect that one of the deceased was behind the poisoning and was driven to this act as he was “suffocated” in debt. The six deceased were found dead by housekeepers at the Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel in the Thai capital Bangkok last Tuesday (16/07). Investigators believe they were dead for 24 hours before they were found. Two of the six had lent “tens of millions of Thai baht” to one of the dead for investment purposes, authorities said. Ten million baht equates to almost $280,000 or £215,000.
