A Las Vegas convict seen in a viral video unleashing a “Superman-style” attack on a judge earlier this year was sentenced to decades behind bars on Tuesday, the New York Post reported. Deobra Redden, 31, was sentenced to between 26 and 65 years in prison almost a year after he jumped over the bench and attacked Judge Mary Kay Holthus in Nevada, US. Redden was charged with attempted murder after the brutal attack and pleaded guilty to that charge in September. But he insisted he had no intention of killing the judge in his statement.
