Tickets for shows in Brazil on tour by Canadian pop star The Weeknd go on sale this Thursday (8). He will perform in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo in October of next year
In Rio, the show is scheduled for October 7, a Saturday, at Nilton Santos Stadium, Engenhão. In São Paulo, the pop singer takes the stage on October 10, a Tuesday, at Allianz Parque.
Tickets can be purchased on the website www.eventim.com.br and at the official box office:
- Rio de Janeiro – Thursday (8) at the Ticket Office North of Engenhão; and from Friday (9), at the Jeunesse Arena
- São Paulo – Thursday (8) at Ticket Office 5 at Estádio do Morumbi; and from Friday (9), at Ticket Office A at Allianz Parque
The Weeknd’s tour celebrates the 2020 album, “After Hours which features the single “Blinding Lights,” named the #1 new Billboard Hot 100 song of all time, besting Chubby Checker’s 1960 hit “The Twist.”

The star also warns on his official profiles on social networks that the release of the theme song for “Avatar: The Way of Water” will be on the 16th, the day after the blockbuster debuts in Brazilian cinemas.
