TikTok announced this Wednesday (22) the launch of the third edition of the “TikTok Awards”. The award is dedicated to honoring the platform’s content creators.
Scheduled to take place at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium on the December 12th, at 8:30 pm , the event will be broadcast live on the official TikTok Brasil profile on the app. Viewers will have the opportunity to watch the entire ceremony, including the red carpet, special performances and the announcement of the winners. The pre-event starts at 7pm.
The categories will be awarded based on online voting open to the public, which opened this Wednesday (22). In this edition, only app users will be able to participate directly in the celebration.
Furthermore, invitations can be purchased by any user, and will be distributed during special activations in early December. More information should be released by TikTok Brasil on its official profile soon.
The TikTok Awards 2023 will feature 16 categories , three more compared to the previous edition. This year, the “Prof of the Year” category debuts, aimed at the teacher who stood out for their innovation in educational content on the platform.
In addition, it features the ‘#CleanTok’ category, aimed at those who shared the best cleaning tips throughout the year, and ‘#TikTokMeFezAssistir’, dedicated to the creator who provided the best entertainment information.
Highlights in various areas will be recognized, including fashion, beauty, sports, games, among others. Additionally, an influential personality on TikTok could win the title of “Creator of the Year”.
Among the finalists in this year’s categories are names such as Luva de Pedreiro, Vivi Cake, Fred, Viih Tube and Malu Borges. The presentation of the event will be led by Eliana, who will receive the participation of Giovanna Antonelli and Lucas Rangel.

Our award has grown, consolidated itself among the major recognitions in the industry and, therefore, this year we are in a bigger format, at the Ibirapuera Gymnasium, with a well-designed ceremony in the style of major international awards” says, Gabriel Simas, Marketing Leader of TikTok Category and Creators in Latin America, in a statement about the new edition of the award.
