TikTok Generation: Goglino Sisters

1- Hello! Introduce yourself for us!
Hello! We are Giovanna, Francesca e Valentina goglino, three sisters of Genoa, better known as the GSister its TikTok. For a year now we have enjoyed posting videos on TikTok: we have always liked acting, plus the platform allows us to spend a lot of time together having fun.

2- How do you express your creativity on TikTok?
We like to express our creativity through contents mainly based on comedy. By creating contents that talk about our relationship, the different personalities and our daily life.

3- Which video did you enjoy the most?
It’s a difficult question to answer because almost all of our videos are fun and consequently we enjoy recording them; but if we had to choose one in particular, we could tell you the dance we did on the song by Iko i ko (which was by the way the video with the most views: over 20 million).

4- What are your favorite effects?
Our favorite effects are: Blingbling, Shake and in general those effects that modify the face in a funny way.

5- Italian or foreign music?
We tend to use Italian sounds for comic videos, while for ballets we use foreign music.

6- What are you watching on TikTok? Do you have any favorite accounts?
We love watching cool videos and current trends. An account we love is precisely that of Mattia Stanga, truly unique and likeable in its simplicity.

7- Can you give me some advice for making cool videos?
The first piece of advice that the GSister they give you is to buy the ring light, without that you can’t be a real TikToker! A cool video must have good light, a nice context and the “right” outfits suitable for the video you want to make. All of these elements can make the video even more beautiful, even if the content is what matters!

8- Where do you get inspiration for your videos from?
We take inspiration from glimpses of everyday life, we ironically tell our relationship, our adventures and even some anecdotes of past events in our large family. We like to propose some Trends, but behind each video there is only us and the afternoons spent thinking and making them!

9- One thing they don’t know about you?
One thing they don’t know, or at least most don’t, is that we are not just three sisters but 5! We have a 32 year old older sister named Emanuela and a 30 year old brother named Alessandro. They have a different surname from ours because the father is different but we grew up together and we are all very close.

10- What is your secret dream?
We have many dreams in the drawer, a Giovanna she would like to work as a model in the world of fashion, and as an actress in the world of cinema having studied acting for six years. TO Francesca would like to become a drummer and be part of a band. TO Valentina she would like to express herself in the world of cinema, having also studied acting. A dream in the common drawer is to be able to have our own clothing line tomorrow.

11- What does TikTok represent for you?
Since we were little we have worked in the fashion world doing shooting, advertising, fashion shows, often together. Now, thanks to TikTok, we have found the right channel where we can express ourselves, trying to convey positivity to those who look at us. It gave us the chance to do something together, having fun behind a camera, just like in the old days.
