1- Hello! Introduce yourself for us!
As in all my videos, I can only introduce myself with a super «Ciao Trippers !!». I am Jessica Barbieri, born in the province of Ferrara, but grown up traveling. Now I am tour leader of group travel and content creator on social networks and on my blog cheviaggitifai.it.
Tripper, on the other hand, it is an English term that means both a traveler and a somewhat strange and exuberant person, the combo that perfectly describes my way of being and of telling! So, the community that follows me on the web and in my group travels can only be made up of trippers like me, people who love to travel but in an unconventional way.
2- How do you express your creativity on TikTok?
My TikTok my two great passions are inherent in the world of travel and festivals. I tell both my past experiences, showing the places I have visited, and the cultural curiosities of the various countries of the world. In addition, I give advice on crazy places, clubs, parties and other must-see destinations, always adding my personal touch to the way of displaying the various information.
3- What video did you most enjoy making?
I have no doubts about this. It was when I made fun of a whole group of Australians that I was taking on a group trip. I told him that in Switzerland they turn off the falls every night to save water and I filmed them counting down waiting for the waterfall to “close”. My laugh at the end of the video certainly contributed to making it go viral.

4- What are your favorite effects?
Definitely the green screen, because it gives me a way to show users what I’m talking about. Also, I’m a big fan of transitions, so whenever I can (and I can, believe me it’s not that easy) I try some visual effects to add a little wow factor to the information I give.
5- Music: Italian or foreign?
I prefer foreign music in my videos because, always speaking, Italian songs tend to confuse my voice and that of the singer.
6- What do you watch on TikTok: do you have favorite accounts?
Obviously I love the contents of @giovanniarena_ and @valentinaraso, as “colleagues” in my own niche. But I also find @diegofusina’s curiosities super interesting and I love @faffapix’s transition. On the other hand, when I feel anxious, I go to @ jostyle_17, if I want to “feel it happens” I look at the misfortunes of @frank_gramuglia and when I feel nostalgia for festivals and discos I rely on @cleared_to_play.
7- Can you give me some advice for making cool videos?
Spontaneity, confidence and smile! You have to let go and forget the shame. The web is immense (and as well TikTok), someone who will appreciate who you are and how you express yourself will always be there! Talk about what you know without inventing anything. Give brief and incisive information, trying to make the best use of facial expressions and tone of voice, so that the video does not appear boring. All this, possibly, with a smile on his lips.

8- Where do you get inspiration for your videos?
From my past travels, documentaries, travel blogs, trade magazines, radio, TV… My rule is simple: if I find it interesting or useful, it will be for someone else too. Then I season it all with my way of being in front of the camera.
9- One thing they don’t know about you?
That I am a great scholar. I have always been very rebellious and free, but at the same time I loved studying and I was definitely a geek. During my schooling I completed a year of studies in Florida and one to Madrid, graduating with honors in Economics and Marketing. Academic path that led me to work in the advertising sector of Google, until I decided to pursue the dream of becoming a tour leader. The message I would like to give is that it is possible to be rebellious and not approved by the masses, pursuing a life outside the box, but at the same time studying, learning and browsing.
10- What is your secret dream?
Getting older by doing what I love most: traveling! And maybe participate in Beijing Express between trips, that would be the icing on the cake!
11- What does TikTok represent for you?
I see it as an opportunity to make the truth known Jess, sharing the passion for my work and my curiosity about the world. It is an opportunity to find girls and boys who are passionate about my adventures, but who also have the desire to sign up for one of my future group trips. In short, I think it’s the key to getting to all the trippers out there who can’t wait to travel with me!
