Hi everyone, I am Jessica Giorgia Senesi and I am a young girl who has shared her entire transition path online, trying to raise awareness of those who did not know anything about it and to help those who felt they needed the same path. In addition to this, I am a great lover of video games, I study videogame concept art and I would like to enter the world of fashion and entertainment.
2- How do you express your creativity on TikTok?
I express my creativity on TikTok uploading videos where I recreate or describe situations that initially, as a trans girl, made me suffer or created embarrassment and I turn them into fun ideas to raise awareness or get some laughs! Often I also respond to the curiosities I receive regarding the transition process and the condition I live in relation to today’s society.
3- What video did you most enjoy making?
There isn’t a video in particular that I enjoyed making the most, I often laugh alone at most of the ones I record, but I am particularly attached to videos where I pretend to be the stereotype of the trans girl with a big voice and not at all. natural. I’ve always had problems with my voice: they always made fun of me because when I was a boy it was too feminine, while now it would be too masculine. Now that I’ve gotten to a point where I can finally accept it, I like to play down with those videos and make it clear that assuming that just because I’m trans then my voice has to be fake is wrong. Continuing to live with certain stereotypes is bad for everyone.

4- What are your favorite effects?
My favorite effect is definitely the green screen. One way or another it always comes in handy! For the rest, I love the effects that deform the face. I will be a bit trivial, but if used well some people make me die of laughing!
5- Music: Italian or foreign?
I don’t make too much distinction between foreign or Italian music. I listen to a little bit of everything, mainly indie, pop and rock.
6- What do you watch on TikTok: do you have favorite accounts?
I often spend my time watching funny videos, to distract myself a little from the stress of the day. Sometimes very interesting videos also happen. I have several Italian crushes and among my favorite accounts (with which I was also lucky enough to make friends) there are Daniele Davì, both for the flawless comic content and the awesome messages it shares. But also Cinda aka @cindaliase, because it conveys a strength and confidence that few people can give me; Leonardo Santuari, because we share the same path and we talked a lot about it.

7- Can you give me some advice for making cool videos?
In my opinion, to make cool videos you need a good idea at the base, a minimum of organization and a lot of passion. It’s not always necessary to have perfect light or a fantastic look – many of my videos are recorded in my pajamas. Often a good backing track helps a lot and maybe even a good filter to add that extra touch of color. Then of course there are the videos that are totally random and still beautiful, so I also think a good dose of luck and timing helps one a lot.
8- Where do you get inspiration for your videos from?
For my videos, I take inspiration from my story, my experience as a trans girl and all the situations I have been in, whether they are happy, sad or embarrassing. I use everything to create something positive that can leave a smile but also an important message! I always try to make people understand how, even if we are trans, in the end we are still people like all the others.
9- One thing they don’t know about you?
Many people do not know that I have a disabled older brother and that he is my world. I fight for a society devoid of judgments and discrimination also to allow him to live a peaceful life. I want to be an example and I want him to see me strong so that he too can find strength.

10- What is your secret dream?
I have many dreams in the drawer: in addition to a society in which we trans people will finally be respected and protected, there is also that of entering the world of fashion and entertainment and being able to continue to cultivate my passion for video games and design .
11- What does TikTok represent for you?
TikTok for me it represents the tool through which we can reach the youngest, to convey important messages and raise awareness, whether it is through comic, serious or more creative videos. I find it a fundamental means to allow anyone to express themselves, to understand and explore themselves.
