TikTok generation: Mattia Stanga

Mattia Stanga it doesn’t need too many introductions, thanks to the imitations of parents, teachers, pharmacists etc. in a very short time he reached more than 920k followers on TikTok and all his videos go viral. We interviewed him and he created 2 videos exclusively for us that you will find in the next few days on our Tik Tok account.

1- Hello! Introduce yourself for us!
Hello! Nice to meet you, my name is Mattia Stanga, I am 23 years old and if it was not understood by my accent I am from Brescia! In life, as well as being nice about TikTok, i’m an economics student about to graduate (hopefully), i have a beautiful family and 3 dogs that i am crazy about.

2- How do you express your creativity on TikTok?
My creativity on TikTok it simply comes from experiences of everyday life and not: skits with professors, skits in which I reproduce how various people behave according to their profession … In short, I like to bring into a video the reality that my eyes see, always with a touch of irony that never hurts! There is also no shortage of videos created purely for the purpose of making people laugh.

3- What video did you most enjoy making?
The funniest videos I made were definitely the ones with my mother: we get along well in love and our fault is that we keep laughing like crazy.

4- What are your favorite effects?
I don’t usually use many effects, but if I had to choose one I would say the greenscreen: sometimes it is difficult to recreate a scene without a context and with the help of this filter everything is much easier.

5- Music: Italian or foreign?
Music in general. I like any kind of music and I listen to all genres, even if I prefer pop. I confess: I have a weakness for Italian music from the 80s / 90s!

6- What do you watch on TikTok: do you have favorite accounts?
His TikTok I look at everything that is proposed to me. My favorite accounts are those similar to mine, so everyday life sketches, especially American ones, and those that play with irony. Although… ASMR videos drive me crazy!

7- Can you give me some advice for making cool videos?
There is no real secret to actually making a cool video… the only thing I think is necessary is great lighting and try to be as simple as possible. Another secret in my opinion is to be yourself: for example, in real life I am just what and I think this rewards a lot.

8- Where do you get inspiration for your videos?
I get a little inspiration from everything – conversations, friends, experiences and, of course, also from videos of other users (to which I always give credits). The most important thing, however, is to try to always be original and to differentiate yourself, even though using ideas you have already seen.

9- One thing they don’t know about you?
I’m an open book, so it’s hard for me to think of something people don’t know about me. Perhaps one thing that only my closest friends know is that when I go on vacation, the first day I am always afraid of being sick!

10- What is your secret dream?
I would love to do a TV series or perform on a comedy stage, just like the ones I saw as a kid. I really like the world of entertainment, without leading to trash, I prefer genuine laughter! But returning more rationally, I would like to fulfill myself from the working point of view, to work in an important company as a supply chain manager, which is what I want to study during my master’s degree.

11- What does TikTok represent for you?
TikTok it represents an opportunity that I never thought would come, it is a place that has given me a lot. I hope it continues, but in case it was just a passing moment, I would still be delighted with what I had. I enjoy making people laugh, but first of all it makes me full of joy to receive messages of thanks from people I was able to make people laugh in this particular moment. It is by no means a foregone conclusion! Today, criticizing is easier than paying a compliment.
