The social network TikTok started to allow its users to post text messages from this Monday (24). The platform known as “viral dances” worked, until then, only with photo and video publications. See below how to create in the new modality for the platform.
In a statement, the network said that it tries to “offer the best to creators and the community, through innovative tools capable of inspiring self-expression”. “In this way, the app pushes the boundaries of content creation for everyone on TikTok, giving the written creativity already seen in comments, captions and videos a new dedicated space to shine.”
From the format, content creators will be able to share stories, poems, recipes and other written content on the platform.

When opening the “Camera” option, the user now has three format options: photo, video or text. By choosing the text option, he will be directed to another creation page, where he can write the content.

When accessing the “Publish” page, the user starts to find similar options to customize the content. Among them, the possibilities to add sound, mark a location, activate comments and make duets. These features allow text messages to be as dynamic and interactive as any video or photo content.
