TikTok user @krisdrinkslemonade repeated an interaction he had with his boss a few weeks ago, during which the two discussed the performance of his work. “I have 9 weeks left in this job, right,” TikToker wrote in the caption of the clip.
In the video, the boss is heard saying: “Mainly, I want to discuss the difference in your performance between last year and 2020.”
The answer that the employer did not expect
“You were the employee with the highest score in 2020, but you do not seem to have kept that momentum last year. What has changed? ” the voice on the other end of the connection, which belongs to employer of.
Chris had an answer to these questions that the employer probably did not like. In a very calm but honest statement about his performance in 2020 he said that since he was not rewarded with an increase, there was no reason to continue his efforts.
“2020 was the second year in a row that I did not receive a raise, even though I was the top employee,” he says.

In a video that follows, Chris revealed that he will be fired soon, which he says is another reason he is no longer trying at his job.
