Tim estimates value creation between R$16 billion and R$19 billion coming from commercial and infrastructure synergies with Oi Móvel’s assets. The number is part of the presentation prepared by the company for the conference call scheduled for 10 am this Monday (25).
Tim also highlights the expectation that the operation will bring a growth of R$ 1.8 billion in revenue and R$ 1.1 billion in Ebitda in eight months of 2022.
“The acquisition of mobile assets from Oi is a watershed for the company”, says the presentation.
With the purchase, the company will receive 16.4 million Oi mobile customers, 44% of which in the postpaid format and 56% in the prepaid format. These migrated consumers should bring double-digit growth to Tim, according to the company’s presentation.
Meanwhile, Tim’s share of the Brazilian market should jump from around 20% to around 27%. “A new Tim is coming out of the transaction better positioned to be a strong national player”, adds the company.
The company also claims that the spectrum and network acquired will reduce future capex and cash flow needs. Tim paid R$ 6.98 billion for the acquisition.
