Time Magazine Will Sell Three Of Its Covers In The Form Of NFT Tokens

TIME magazine has announced the sale of three of its covers in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT) on SuperRare. The auction will run until 21:00 on March 24. As of 10:00 Moscow time, the maximum rate per lot is 22 Ethereum ($ 36.9 thousand), writes RBC Crypto.

Immediately after the auction opened, the magazine posted a job on LinkedIn looking for a new CFO. In addition to the standard duties for this position, the employer has included a clause on “comfortable” work with cryptocurrency and bitcoins. The vacancy does not specify what exactly the applicant will have to do with cryptoassets.

Previously, thanks to NFT technology, the Beeple artist managed to become one of the three most expensive living artists in the world. His collection of drawings Everydays: The First 5000 Days, consisting of 5,000 works, was auctioned by Christie’s for $ 69.35 million.

NFT tokens are unique and not divisible. Such a token is used to confirm ownership of an object; it cannot be replaced without the consent of the owner.
