Tina Turner’s youngest son Ronnie dies. She was 62 years old

Tina Turner is grappling with new pain: the queen of rock and roll now 83 years old mourns the death of her youngest son, Ronnie, born of her marriage to her husband Ike. Instead, his wife Afida gave the announcement of Ronnie’s death on social media with a long post in which he wrote: “Good heavens, Ronnie Turner is a true angel, a noble and very spiritual soul, my husband, my best friend, my puppy”. And he adds: «I did my best until the end and yet I could not save you, I love you for these 17 years together. I’m really pissed off because this is a tragedy but now you are with your brother Craig and your father Ike Turner and Alline (Tina Turner’s older sister, ed.). May you rest in Heaven. But it’s so unfair.” The message alternates red angry emojis with tears, broken hearts and folded hands in prayer.

Tina Turner has two other adopted children (formerly held by Ike): Ike Turner Jr., now 64, and Michael, 63. The first revealed to the Daily Mail in 2018 that he hadn’t had a relationship with the diva since she moved to Europe. The star lives in a villa on Lake Zurich worth 68 million dollars, purchased with her second husband, the German producer Erwin Bach, whom she married in 2013 after almost twenty years of living together. You currently have renounced your US citizenship to keep only your Swiss one. In Switzerland, on the other hand, she has found her retreat.
