The São Paulo Court of Justice (TJ-SP) determined the eviction of comedian Whindersson Nunes from a property for non-payment of the lease.
In the decision of Judge Erica Stefani Vita, it is said that Whindersson failed to contest the action “which leads to the presumption of veracity of the facts alleged by the plaintiff, notably, the tenant’s late payment and the absence of the air conditioning units that the defendant committed to to be installed on the property”.
The deadline for the comedian to leave the property is 15 days. Failure to do so will result in “compulsory eviction”.
“Furthermore, I condemn the defendant to pay the plaintiff the rents, fines and charges claimed in the initial, plus the rents, fines and charges that are due until the effective eviction, with interest of 1% per month and monetary correction by the TJ Practice Table. -SP from their respective maturities”, complements the decision.
THE CNN contacted Whindersson Nunes’ advice for comments on the action, but did not receive a response until the article was published.
