The informal meeting on the Cyprus issue begins today in Geneva in an expanded form convened by UN Secretary -General Antonio Guterres. The informal discussions are attended by the President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides, the Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar, the Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis, the Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan and the UK Deputy Foreign Minister of the United States. Today, Monday, March 17th, a work dinner will be held for the heads of delegations. Tomorrow, Tuesday, March 18th, meetings of the meeting will be held. On the sidelines of the informal enlarged meeting, Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis will have a bilateral meeting with the Secretary General of the United Nations.
