Sharp has officially announced that it has decided to postpone the launch of its flagship smartphone to a later date.
Earlier it was reported that the event, which was supposed to present the public with a new flagship smartphone, Sharp Aquos R6, will take place on May 10, that is, today, but the manufacturer changed plans. Sharp did not reveal the reasons that prompted the company to postpone the presentation of the smartphone, and also did not disclose a new date for the presentation of the Sharp Aquos R6.
At the end of last week, the first images of the Sharp Aquos R6 appeared on the web, which confirm that the smartphone will receive a curved screen on the sides with a hole for the front camera in the center top of the display. A feature of the smartphone will be a huge camera, which was created with the participation of Leica specialists.
It is expected that the smartphone will receive a QHD + screen with support for high refresh rates and Gorilla Glass, as well as a Snapdragon 888 single-chip system. The device must comply with IP68 protection.
